Men built underground sewage pipes to send “far away” its liquid residues, erected chimneys to send “far away” gas wastes, and create garbage dumps to hide “far away” solid wastes.

Finally the time has come where there is no more “far away”.

SolBio S.A. is a research and development (RD) company that uses its biotechnological solutions and approved products to achieve the bioremediation of contaminated soils and waters, and the biotreatment of agricultural, industrial and urban biodegradable gaseous, liquid and solid residues, utilizing bioincrease and biostimulation in order to avoid contaminant gas emission and to transform solid organic waste into biocompost.

Given that many of our biotechnological solutions are applicable to avoid gas emissions contributing to the greenhouse effect like Methane (CH4), Nitrous Oxide (N2O), Hydrfluorinecarbonates (HFCs), Perfluorinecarbonates (PFCs) and sulfurhexafluoride (SF6) included in the Kyoto Protocol, SolBio S.A. manages Clean Development Mechanism projects to obtain Certified Emission Reductions (CERs or Green Bonds).

SolBio S.A. is a company created in 2006, continuing the trajectory of SolBio - Soluciones Biológicas de los Tuxla S.A. of C.V. (see links) of Mexico, with the purpose to extend the experience its Vice-President and Technical Director Ricardo N. Aguerre acquired the last 20 years in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Cuba.

President: Juan Cristóbal Rautenstrauch

Vice-President and Technical Director: Ricardo N. Aguerre
